Completion and submission of the re-certification form, and acceptance of the form by the Recertification Committee, is required every five years for continued recognition as a European Specialist in Veterinary Neurology, under the guidelines of the European Board of Veterinary Specialisation.
Do I need to submit a re-certification form?
- NO – if you have been awarded your ECVN Diploma by ECVN examination less than five years ago.
- NO – if you have successfully completed the ECVN re-certification process within the past five years.
- NO – if you have notified the ECVN that you are non-practising or retired.
- NO – if you are an Honorary Member or Associate Member of the ECVN.
- YES – for all other Diplomates of the ECVN.
How to submit my re-certification form?
Recertification forms must be submitted online. Please see the downloadable document bellow. No email submission will be accepted. Please contact the chairperson of the re-certification committee if you have any issue or question regarding the process (credecom@ecvn.org).
What is the deadline?
The deadline is 1st October of your recertification due date. You are however strongly encouraged to submit your recertification form earlier.
Do I need referees?
Since 2024, referees are not required anymore for recertification. The website still asks for referees because other EBVS colleges still ask. Please fill the boxes with random names to allow submission.
