As an ECVN Diplomate, you would be joining an experienced residency-trained neurologist, in a rapidly growing service.

Veterinary Specialists Scotland is a newly established and rapidly expanding, purpose-built, multi-disciplinary referral centre in the heart of Scotland. Based in Livingston, 20 minutes away from Edinburgh, 40 minutes from Glasgow and 15 minutes from the Edinburgh International Airport, it allows for easy access to cities, or for an escape to the hills and sea. We opened in October 2020 and since then have expanded from 8 to 17 specialists and residency-trained clinicians across seven clinical disciplines. Our building has huge potential for expansion and is still an exciting work in progress.

As an ECVN Diplomate, you would be joining an experienced residency-trained neurologist, in a rapidly growing service.

You will benefit from an onsite 1.5T MRI, 64-slice GE CT scanner, C-arm fluoroscopy, Neurogen electrodiagnostic machine (including EMG, nerve conduction, BAER and video EEG) and fully equipped surgical theatres.

As part of our Neurology team, you will contribute to the excellent service and patient care we pride ourselves on. You will be keen to support our intern and future residency programs and provide advice and occasional CPD to our referring vets.

Our focus is on our people, so we are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
You will work a 40-hour week over 4 days and will contribute to a 1:4 OOH rota. Salary is commensurate with experience. CPD allowance and a generous holiday allowance including birthday leave are all included in the package. We also offer life assurance, income protection and enhanced sick pay.
