The Department of Clinical Sciences at Colorado State
University seeks applications for a 12-month tenure-track or 12-month
non-tenure track Clinical Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor
in Neurology. This position will be housed in the Department of Clinical
Sciences located on the Veterinary Health Campus of Colorado State University.
The neurology service at the Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching
Hospital evaluates, diagnoses, and treats a broad array of diseases that either
primarily or secondarily affect the nervous system. The Neurology service has
high-quality facilities, a strong clinical case load, and a great support
team.
The Department recognizes that there is a need
for an additional faculty to sustain clinical excellence and teaching programs,
and for development of new knowledge so has created the currently advertised
position. The language is intentionally broad to allow for maximum flexibility
in meeting the selected candidate’s professional interests upon hire. At
Colorado State University, rank and opportunities for advancement are similar
in both the tenure and non-tenured faculty series and the Department of Clinical
Sciences has an excellent track record of promoting all faculty.
Applications should include 1) a cover letter addressing the
applicant’s qualifications, 2) curriculum vitae, and 3) name and contact
information for three professional references. References will not be contacted
without prior notification of candidates.
Applications will be accepted until the position is filled
but for full consideration, please submit application materials by January 10,
2022, 11:59pm MT.
