ECVN Residency in Neurology and Neurosurgery at Paragon Referrals (2020 – 2023)

Paragon Referrals are pleased to offer a three years ECVN residency program starting from June/July 2020 After completing the residency program the successful candidate would be able to sit the Diploma Examination of the European College of Veterinary Neurology. The Resident must be a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and should have a strong background in veterinary medicine and surgery and be ready to work in a busy multidisciplinary hospital. Applicants must have successfully completed a 12-month rotating internship or provide evidence of equivalent experience over at least three years in small animal practice. Candidates who have completed a 12-month neurology internship or hold a Veterinary Neurology Certificate will be prioritized. The successful applicant will be supervised by one EBVS® European Specialists in Veterinary Neurology and RCVS Specialists in Veterinary Neurology and will work in a dynamic team of residents, interns and nurses. 
Paragon Referrals works closely with other referral centres in the Linnaeus group to provide radiation oncology treatment, facilitate clinical research and access to shared expertise.

Large medical and surgical wards as well as a Intensive care unit allow hospitalization of a large number of patients providing an outstanding clinical care across many different disciplines.
